Qualifications

Eligibility is based on:

  • Age
  • Family income
  • Residency

To qualify, a child must be, under the age of 19, live in Oregon and be a legal resident. Family income will determine whether the child qualifies.

Families who earn up to 300 percent of the Federal Poverty Level can qualify for no-cost health coverage for their kids. For example, a family of four who earns up to about $70,896 a year (about $5,908 a month) may qualify for no-cost coverage.

Note: These income levels are approximate. Qualification is based on Federal Poverty Levels (FPL) as set by the federal government annually. For children in Oregon, qualification is set at 300 percent FPL.
