Partner with us
The Office of Healthy Kids invites our community partners to help us enroll children into Healthy Kids. Partner groups can help by participating in one of our outreach and enrollment programs.
There are many ways you and your organization can work with the Office of Healthy Kids to ensure that every Oregon child has access to healthcare. Below are some of the various ways organizations currently partner with us.
• Certified Application Assistance Organizations (CAAO):
Effective immediately, new contractors applying for the Application Assistance program and current CAAOs shall receive a payment of $75 for every completed application that leads to the successful enrollment of an applicant under the age of 19 into the Healthy Kids program. The $75 payment is through September, 2010. Contractors with a current contract will receive an amendment within the next two weeks outlining the change in payment structure (by May 14, 2010).
For organizations interested in becoming an Application Assister, please visit our assister page for more information. Organizations must complete an RFA 3115 (Request for Application).
• Volunteer Organizations:
Organizations can receive a date-stamp, order applications and attend trainings; however, DHS does not pay organizations $75 for each assisted application. For organizations that are interested please visit our assister page for more information. Organizations must complete an RFA (Request for Application) 3115.
• Provider Network: Medical providers receive a date-stamp, bill for services, order applications, and attend trainings. Please call Provider Enrollment at 1-800-422-5047 and visit our Training page for more information.
• Targeted Outreach Grantees: Contracted and funded for specific outreach activities and application assistance. Please visit our Outreach Grants page for more information or contact Valerie Rux at 503-945-6526. Program currently closed.
• Community Partner: Healthy Kids community partners can attend free training sessions, order, hand out, and display Healthy Kids materials. Refer potential clients to local Application Assisters, or DHS offices. We can work with you to provide materials and assistance for your organization to spread the word about Healthy Kids. Please visit our Materials Request and Training pages for more information or contact Jessica Kendall at 503-945-6494.
